Senior-Level Environmental Scientist or Engineer
This position will consist of project management, team management, and report analysis. Applicant will have a strong knowledge of environmental and safety laws and regulations for contracts under the US DoD, Federal and State governments for CONUS and OCONUS regions in the Pacific. This position will encompass managing environmental projects in the Pacific and Indian Ocean areas under the DoD AOR.
Education: Bachelor's, Master’s or Doctorate degree in Environmental Engineering, Environmental Science, Geology, Biology, Chemistry or a similar field. Minimum of 15 years work experience in environmental management required.
Required Skills and Experience:
Experience in Environmental Initiatives (CAA, CWA, EPA, RCRA, EPCRA & CERCLA), Remediation, Pollution Prevention, Monitoring, and Hazardous Materials Management. A broad diversity of environmental work experience in private industry, governmental and consulting is preferred.
- Strong knowledge and experience in environmental science and engineering
- Ability to write and analyze technical reports utilizing US Laws and Regulations
- Ability to effectively communicate with government technical POC
- Ability to manage teams across multiple locations within the organization
- Ability to gain support for initiatives that benefit the organization
- Strong organizational and management capabilities
- Excellent written, oral and computer skills required.
- Knowledge of ACAD and ArcGIS
- Ability to work in a team environment across multiple locations within the organization.
Ability to gain support for initiatives that benefit the organization.
Must be results-oriented with strong initiative.
Knowledge of ACAD and ArcGIS a plus.
- Multi years of work experiences in Hawaii including knowledge of state regualtions is a plus.
