Mid to Senior Level Environmental Compliance Manager/Scientist

This position will support HIES’ Compliance Team with project oversight, management assistance, mentoring and client interface for environmental projects such as AEIs, SPCPs, SPCCPs, EAs, Title V Air Permits, LBPMPs, SWPPPs, P2 Plans, HM/WMPs, EMS and overall environmental regulatory compliance. The candidate must possess excellent verbal communication, writing and editorial (QA/QC) skills, senior or managerial project management skills and be able to supervise, mentor, provide guidance and evaluate a team of compliance scientists and engineers.

Must be able to write proposals, subcontracts and cost proposals for DoD clients, maintain project budgets and communicate with corporate and management staff. Successful candidate will have 10-15 years experience of progressive experience and responsibilities, effectively communicating with clients, managing projects, managing compliance programs and supervision of environmental staff. A bachelor’s degree in environmental, biology, geology, civil or any of the sciences required. CHMM or REM certification a plus.
